6. What are some helpful shopping tips?

  1. Bring a friend and make it a moms day out!

  2. Bring a large bag or something to help you carry all your selections. A laundry basket  with a belt tied to it as a leash works well.

  3. Make a list of sizes and needed items before you come. If length or waist size is difficult to measure for your child, measure them using a string and bring it to the sale.

  4. If you wish to purchase a large item, you can take off the white card.  Be careful not to lose the white card. Once you take off the card, you must buy it! When you check out, the item will be brought up to the register by a worker.

  5. Be sure to check in both the boys and the girls for your sizes. We have lots of unisex items, such as Gap, Levis, etc.

  6. Find a good light to sit under and carefully inspect everything you plan to purchase. We do our best at inspection, but cannot possibly catch everything.

  7. All sales are final.

9.  How do I price my items?

We generally recommend 1/3 to 1/4  of the retail price you paid for the item new, factoring in size and condition. We ask you only bring items that are in excellent condition. We have a huge selection in the smaller sizes, so you may want to price toddler sizes less than 1/3 just to be sure it sells. Ask yourself "Would I buy what I'm bringing in at the price I am asking?"  Writing N.D. (No discount) in the lower left corner will indicate that you do NOT want your item to be half price on Discount Day.  Please read our Tagging Page for more details.

10. What can I expect at drop-off?

You will bring all your items in and check in at the desk. Our workers will give you any instructions you need, and you'll fill out all your paperwork, get your passes, etc. While you are doing paperwork, we will inspect your items, and then you will hang your clothing on the proper rack. Everything else, such as shoes, books, small toys, etc. will be put out by our workers.
